Steve Morgan

President

Mr. Morgan, President of CESI, spearheads the development and implementation of energy efficiency programs in collaboration with local communities such as Cambridge, Cincinnati, and Charlottesville. His expertise encompasses program design, marketing strategies, contractor oversight, and financing facilitation. He has written and spoken widely on such topics as energy efficiency, utility incentives, and energy performance contracting.

In his former role as Vice President of AMERESCO, Mr. Morgan led the nation’s largest energy services company division dedicated solely to multifamily building energy services, driving over $175 million in energy investments. Notably, he integrated asthma mitigation with energy initiatives in New England and collaborated with the New York City Housing Authority on a similar project.

He holds degrees from Harvard University and Brandeis University and is nationally recognized for his contributions to energy policy and utility efficiency programs having testified before Congressional Subcommittees on renewable energy issues and has provided energy efficiency consulting services to a variety of federal agencies including DOE and HUD.

When not taking care of his three young grandchildren with his wife Patricia, Steve enjoys playing and watching entirely too many sports to mention and reading American histories and biographies of the 18th and early 19th centuries.
